This blog is just a place for three relatively like-minded people to ramble incoherently about life, video games, and whatever else comes to mind. Below is a short rundown of the RTN crew.
Matthew L. (a.k.a. RAY16, Neo-Humanity)
I’m just your friendly neighborhood recluse, I sit on my computer all day wasting time like no other has before me. I am a true professional at my craft. In addition to playing PC games, I have a 3D modeling hobby that I don’t pay enough attention to. For 3D Modeling I use a free program called Blender which I’d recommend to anybody looking to work with 3D graphics programs but can’t quite afford to shell out the thousands of dollars that 3DS Max or Maya cost. My musical tastes are hard to define, I listen to a lot of of electronica (a broad term covering all electronic genres and sub-genres), trip-hop, chillout, and various forms of rock (classic, alternative, etc). I don’t pay much attention to music genres, I split everything into two categories: like and dislike. I’m no master of the English language, but I try my best and that’s more than can be said about a lot of people on the Internet.

I’m yet another gaming addict. Where there is homework, it most likely isn’t done. If there’s something that must be done, I opt to do other things that must be done in the digital realm. I’ve always been an avid PC gamer, I owned a Genesis, a 64, and a Gamecube, all of which saw loving use until I looked back at my PC. I now have a year-old Wii, which is undergoing the same process due to its lack of awesome titles, and I have recently purchased a 360 Elite. Since that day I have played Crysis once on my PC. I’m a new convert to the joyous joy that a console can provide and will be posting my opinions and reviews upon console games, and potentially PC games if I ever come back. Musically I enjoy more rock than anything else, though whatever Ray16 sends my way usually finds its way onto my favorites list. Outside of 1’s and 0’s I live a life at college learning to be a music educator. I currently play bassoon and tenor sax (with the occasional flute whenever the jazz chart calls for it) at school and at home I mess around (often poorly) with a guitar and my piano. Other than that I don’t have much else to tell you.

Full time college student and full…er time gamer. I’m slogging my way through general studies because I just can’t figure out what I want to be when I grow up. I’m a huge sucker for an FPS with an inventory, RPGs that take place in space or after the apocalypse and games with cars that go fast. Things that are awesome to me are good gaming publications, awesome gaming podcasts and awesome music. If something it awesome, you can rest assured I’m already there. Or the reason that it’s awesome in the first place, ladies. /flex
